MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

Photographer. Pet Nurse. Fur Mom. Animal Advocate. Adventurer

For as long as I can remember taking photos has always been a huge part of who I am. Even as a child I could always be found with a camera in my hand, taking photos of anything and everything. As I got older that interest slowly grew into a true passion. I spent years challenging myself and my creativity and really finding out what it took to be a professional photographer.  Although I spent a few year pursuing other professional goals, my passion for photography never left and finally in 2020 CWC Photography was here to stay.

Away from the camera my life looks much different. Like so many animal lovers I have loved and owned animals my whole life. From weird and wonderful rodents to large and goofy dogs and everything in between. Each one of my pets has meant the world to me and it is that love and devotion that led me to where I am today. I wanted to find a way to give back to our animal companions and help pet parents like myself gain a better understanding of their pets needs. So for 7 years I spent my time learning how to do just that. I obtained a degree in Biology at the University of Guelph, received a diploma in Veterinary Technology at Georgian College and a certificate in Wildlife Rehabilitation from Seneca College. Since graduation I have been actively working as an RVT in a Veterinary Emergency & Referral Hospital and although some days are harder than others, I love being able to help make a difference.

I am so blessed that I can say I truly love what I do every day in both of my career paths but I also enjoy my downtime spent with my own family and friends and going on adventures, often with a four legged companion in toe.

HELPING PAWS - TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

I have always been a huge believer that all animals are deserving of the same love, respect and devotion that they show to us. Having adopted many of my own pets over the years, I have seen first hand how animals flourish when given a safe and loving place to call their own. This is just one of the many reasons I enjoy working with animal rescues and sanctuaries.

Every year CWC Photography hosts numerous fundraisers dedicated to helping our furry friends get the help they need and aid them in finding their furever homes
